The Pass Chorale "Celebration of Christmas" concert is scheduled for Sunday, December 10. The major work will be the Gloria by Antonio Vivaldi for soloists, chorus and orchestra. Soloists are Penny Quinn, Soprano and Katie Nelson, Mezzo-soprano. This work is festive and a wonderful way to celebrate Christmas.
But wait, there's more. The chorale will also sing Christmas anthems by Morten Laruidsen, Alfred Burt, and John Rutter. The Chorale is proud to premier a new work, Hodie, by Rhonert Pascual. Rhonert is a chorale member and frequent soloist, he is also a composer. Rhonert will be singing with us and soloing in a Christmas anthem, Prepare Ye.
The concert ends with our traditional carol sing-along. This is the audience's chance to sing with an orchestra, filling the entire room with glorious sound!
A beautiful reception follows the concert.
